We are looking for an events assistant who will provide support to various events in Latin America specific to our Business Marketing team. You will be responsible for contributing and executing individual events that support overall sales goals, marketing plans and key message before, during and after the event. The successful candidate will have a marketing industry background that includes developing and producing events through solid positioning, messaging, event planning, contract negotiating, and cross-functional relations that ensure Facebook is positioned as the strongest marketing platform in the world. This position is full-time, and is based in our Mexico City office.
Organize and manage timelines and check lists for events in Latin America
Request, negotiate and review suppliers proposals (catering, printing, A&,V, venues, etc) for events in the region
Provide new suppliers form to be completed and work with the Business Marketing Operations assistant to onboard them for events
Review suppliers contracts and work with the Business Marketing Operations assistant to process their contracts for events in Latin America
Manage event resources
Create event recap decks and administer surveys to track the ROI and results of events
Work with vendors including catering, security, live stream/video, registration, facilities, shipping, and signage on program logistics
Collaborate with events marketing team to continually refine best practices and execution and measurement
Support/produce FB and Industry events for the region
Support with clients', swags (orders &, storage) for Latin America.
5+ years of events marketing experience, preferably in the advertising, marketing technology, or media industry
2+ years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
Direct experience programming and/or producing 400+ person events
Ability to work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines
