Executing the overall Financial Services research strategy, working closely with your supervising Research Manager, and other Banking and Capital Markets researchers around the globe.
Working closely with others in the research team to build effective, trust-based relationships with clients in the Practice and their support functions (Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.) both in the Buenos Aires office and beyond, to ensure sponsorship and utilization of research services. ,
Supporting Accenture clients and business development teams with a range of types of analysis: company profiles, market segment profiles, analysis of Accenture competitors, thought leadership audits, issue-based research, data-driven research, financial analysis, business capability-related research
Deepening , and refining our expertise in the sources and subject matter (issues and trends) that are relevant
Contributing to the development of research assets that differentiate Accenture Research in the market, e.g., forecasting of market trends, modelling of survey data to size markets, impact evaluation of digital innovation in financial services, etc.
Identifying new sources of relevant Banking and Capital Markets content and contribute to evaluations of external content for acquisition
Actively contributing to Accenture both locally and globally. Taking part in team building activities, supporting your local Accenture Research lead and the global Accenture Research Financial Services team (e.g., contributing to team training, sharing your knowledge and actively participating in other team events). , ,Requisitos básicos
2+ years business research experience, preferably in a consulting environment, equity brokerage, third-party research organization, financial services institution or demonstrated equivalent skill.
Understanding of business, markets, financial institutions and economic issues at large.
Awareness in specific industry segments, with a preference to Capital Markets or Banking
Working experience in a team of research professionals.
Secondary research skills with a proven ability in using online and other research sources in delivering research results to provide a value-added all-round research service to internal customers is desirable
Demonstrated experience of writing reports, and presentations for delivery to internal and external audience a plus
Professional Skill Requirements
Passion for and understanding of the financial services industry: understanding of key Banking and Capital Markets industry trends and challenges, the value chain and how banks and capital markets players bring products and services to the market, company financial value drivers, key players, opportunities in developed and emerging markets, and consumer trends.
Solid Research capabilities: able to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question, able to use most research techniques such as secondary database searching, company analysis, market analysis, strategic analysis frameworks, interview-based research and financial analysis.
Analytical ability: Track record in research projects using econometric modelling and statistics: forecasting, market sizing, impact evaluation, etc. Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to make sense of data. We want researchers who can draw out the implications of the research they do and tell a compelling, business-focused story about the data that is relevant to Accentures business and clients.
Ability to quickly grasp complex and unfamiliar subjects, and willingness to expand these to incorporate into everyday work
Good written and oral communications skills, including the ability to understand and define clearly the research requirements and expectations of the customer
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately, as in this role you will be supporting a number of Managers and Senior Principals in the team as well as being expected to start growing your own work
Ability to work independently and share status updates on work progress, the virtual nature of our teams means that you need to be a self-starter as well as have the ability to manage well upwards and have the ability to network well within the team and Accenture Research as a whole
Strong PowerPoint + Word and Excel skills, knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau and ability to develop these further is a plus
Personal credibility: to be successful in this role you need to be able to build a strong working relationship with other Financial Services research team members and individuals in the Financial Service practice including senior executives. You will need to be confident, outgoing, able to talk knowledgeably about your subject. You also need to be able to build relationships within our team and work with others in person and remotely on projects
