Senior Manager, Mexico Traffic & Marketing
The Amazon Mexico Retail team is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our Traffic and Marketing efforts for one of Amazons fastest growing businesses. The Senior Traffic Manager will deliver a set of top priority initiatives to drive demand, acquire new customers, and improve the shopping experience for Mexico customers. The Mexico team provides a vibrant, entrepreneurial team environment, while benefiting from access to the experience, resources, and technology of one of the largest online marketers in the world.
The ideal candidate will be both highly analytical and creative, with a passion for figuring out how things work and making them better. We are looking for someone who can dig in quickly, build partnerships within the Mexico team and across the Amazon organization, establish a roadmap for growth, and use analytics and customer insight to shape recommendations and drive continual improvement.
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for:
Creation of Mass & brand programs to create awareness and drive new customer acquisition efforts
Developing and implementing a growth strategy to drive demand and new customer acquisition across traffic channels, with a focus on Mass & Brand activities, Search Marketing (Free, Paid Search), Social Marketing, Outbound Marketing (email), Affiliate Marketing, and Mobile.
Partnering with the Amazon Traffic team and the Mexico Site Merchandising team to develop and implement best practices.
Analyzing traffic results and communicating performance (verbal & written) to key management stakeholders.
Analyzing and optimizing on-site search performance within Amazon.mx.
Working closely with new product launch teams to develop online marketing / search strategy to drive awareness and traffic.
Lead the Mexico traffic and site merchandising teams to accomplish key business objectives focused customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
10+ years in marketing, product management, or search engine development/optimization.
5+ years of managing people (3+) in a marketing organization
Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies
Spanish / English Fluency
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Direct experience with online marketing, especially search marketing (SEO, SEM).
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done
- SQL skills are a plus
