Amazon BuyVIP is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Vendor Manager, Bags & Shoes with deep data analysis skills, good on negotiation and strong customer focus. Role will be located in Spain.

Your professional challenge within the Bags & Shoes category:
You will build strong relationships and facilitate discussions with vendors to increase selection and engage them in growth opportunities.
By analyzing customer data, as well as competitors and the market segment in general, you will identify selection gaps and seek out new vendors to fulfill this demand.
As an innovator within the company, you will help to develop new product groups and improve the customer experience to deliver further growth.
You will seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
The performance of your product category, customer experience and operational efficiency will determine your success.

University degree required ideally in a technical or analytical discipline.
Professional experience ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or consulting environment.
Excellent English skills
Highly analytical, flexible, action and results oriented, self-starter, comfortable with computer databases and tools.
Outstanding analytical and numerical skills and experience in planning and forecasting. Advanced Excel user well-versed in Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
Must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
Good negotiation skills.
An effective communicator working with some of Amazons most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal teams.
Excellent marketing skills, a feel for customer needs, as well as a high degree of innovative prowess
Ability to operate clearly in an ambiguous environment, strong ability to influence.
A business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality


Qualification to MBA level, or equivalent, preferably in a Business-related subject
Experienced in consulting, dynamic or start up type environments a plus
Excellent knowledge of Excel and database work, with proficiency in SQL
Relevant commercial footwear industry experience
